end of one fun and busy weekend

Baby shower was a success and so much fun! It was an honor to co-host Callie's baby shower with Veronica and April! You two girl rock at party planning!

One more baby shower for sweet baby Holcomb and Mommy Callie and Daddy Erich will be ready for him to make his arrival! Someone asked me today if I was excited to have a new baby around. I can't lie...I am soooo excited I can barely handle it. Yes, for those of you who are wondering, it gives me a little itch to have another, but not quite there yet. Stay tuned! =)

Here are a few pictures of the party. Let me just say how much fun I had planning this and creating the little details. Oh also...I heart the cricut in case you didn't know.

Sweet Mommy to be! You look amazing Callie! You rock pregnancy's face off!

Thank you to Emily who brought these amazing Truffles! Or should I say thanks to "grandma" (inside joke).

So, a little fun I had with the cricut was making these little table cards. I love the little details.
Another table card for the water.

One of my favorite things is clear glass for entertaining and white dishes! {Technically that would be two of my favorite things, but who's counting?}

This water cooler is my sister Callie's. I love it! I must find a way to have it! Or just go to Costco and get one of my own. =) Either way, I think it's beautiful with the lemons!

May I suggest Blood Orange Bubbly? We used this as a mixer for the Champagne instead of traditional mimosa O.J. It was a huge hit and I will definitely go this route again. Besides, it's much prettier displayed than Orange juice. Don't you agree?

May I also suggest Champagne cheddar cheese. This is slap-your-mama-good cheese! I am so sorry for anyone who is lactose intolerant and can never experience this cheese.

Costco $9

{a little piece of heaven}
And the cupcakes...oh YES, the cupcakes! Let me just say as amazing as that fluffy icing looks, it tastes even better! The cupcakes were made by the sweetest gal ever, Melinda! Love her!!! Thanks so much Melinda for bringing the sweets. I only had ____ of them.

For the sake of having my daughter's 3rd birthday party and my Sister's baby shower this weekend, my new years diet starts tomorrow. I mean, come on! Look at those cupcakes! There was no way I was going to stick to my new years, new me!

More to come on the cricut baby shower projects. It's time for me to go whisper sweet nothings in my pillow's ear. =)
